In co-operation with Norfolk County Council, the evoice project will hold its third International Political Forum on eDemocracy on May 22nd and 23rd, 2008, in Hotel The Maids Head at Norwich (UK).The programme has an open structure and character, with enough time and opportunity for networking, exchange of opinions and expertise, and to make new contacts.
Keynote speakers and workshop facilitators from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden will present their contributions on eParticipation and eDemocracy on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008. On Friday, May 23rd, 2008 the participants will pay a study visit to King's Lynn with the focus on Bus Stop 39 and parish websites.

In January 2008, the evoice project published its second special edition of the evoice newsletter with information about the edemocracy game as developed by the Municipality of Härryda (S). Härryda also translated the essential parts of the democratic information into nine most represented immigrant languages.The final conference of the evoice will be held on May 22nd and 23rd, 2008, at Norwich (Norfolk County, UK). At this third International Political Forum on eDemocracy the first copy of the evoice manual will be presented.

Bus Stop 39 - an innovative evoice pilot project has gained a top UK national award for the use of eMedia to promote the work of local authorities among young people.Bus Stop 39 – an online blogging soap opera aimed at increasing young people’s understanding of local government – was backed by a partnership of Norfolk County Council and the Borough Councils of King's Lynn & West Norfolk and Great Yarmouth in the United Kingdom.

The new future project Spirit of Democracy in the framework of the Interreg IVB North Sea Region Programme is building on the results of the evoice project. An elaborated and strengthened international partnership is developing the new project as regards contents, organisation and finances. See the component Spirit of Democracy at the top of the left hand navigation bar.
In September 2007 the evoice project published its sixth newsletter. The main items in the evoice newsletter6 are:- the first automated document management system in Sweden installed at Uddevalla;
- the Belgian City of Harelbeke introduced the Digital Social House, a product catalogue for social workers;
- eParticipation and the one million euro question in the Kortrijk Region (B).
