scientific monitoring and project evaluation
The evoice project works with a comprehensive, elaborate and clear set of indicators on project activities, output, result and impact, in order to monitor and evaluate the project on a regular basis in the so-called e-democracy score.
In the e-democracy score the results of the project are verified and checked against the original objectives, targets and aims by the Institut für Informationsmanagement (ifib), affiliated with the University of Bremen (FRG), to assess whether these results meet the project goals.
If necessary, ifib will co-operate with universities from the other participating countries (United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands and Sweden).
The complete set of indicators itself is subject to constant evaluation to maintain the high standards of the evoice project. The evoice project will also present an end-of-project evaluation.
In September 2004 a group of scientists from the universities at Bremen, Rotterdam, Brussels and Göteborg, representatives of the project partners and the project management discussed the existing set of indicators on practicability and reliability at Kortrijk (B).
